All Mahulu Wetsuits start out as seashells. And it’s at the beginning of a life cycle, err, a product cycle, that everything receives a name. So, that’s exactly what we’ve done.
ELLIPTIO
We named our standard, all-black men’s full suit after the Elliptio, a species of mussel known for their long lifespans. Designed to keep you in the water for longer, built to last, and part of a product cycle moving us towards a sustainable future. The Elliptio lives up to its name.
CALICO
Named after a common scallop in both Brazil and Bermuda, the Calico knows its way around the best surfing and kitesurfing spots in the world. But this wetsuit is anything but common. Designed for the water sports athlete looking to put a little extra flare on their turns or airs.
VILLOSA
The Villosa gets its name from a mussel often referred to as the river mussel. As you glide down the line, you’ll find yourself locked into a similar flow-state. And with a splash of color, you’ll look and feel your best while helping the planet do the same.
SWIFTI
Oh summertime. The Swiftopectean Swifti scallop has been studied for its “sensitivity to waterborne vibrations.” We built the Swifti for those perfect summer days when you can’t help but pick up all the good vibrations.
